The Pilot TSI project from Moyne Community School involves building awareness  of the many different social action projects being undertaken in our school, such as a mentoring programme for junior students, Students' Council; A Movie Day for students organised by the LCA class; Greenschools Programme; Wise Guys Quiz Enterprise Company; fundraising initatives for Hatii, St. Vincent de Paul, Irish Cancer Society, Childrens' Hospital Crumlin, Irish Cancer Society and the local hospice; as well as the implementation of issues such as health and good diet, justice and citizenship in our school'.

Mr. Des Cullen Principal, Moyne Community School says the school is delighted to have been chosen for this nationwide pilot. ' As part of the Young Social Innovators' Pilot Centre we hope to build an awareness and interest in the many student led activities that are currently happening in our school and community. The work of the students participating in this pilot project focuses on all of the various social projects currently running within the school.  It also highlights the involvement of our pupils in social and community participation.  We will continue to participate in this programme which is of huge benefit to young people and their communities'.
